The Rotary Club of Napanee website is currently live, but under construction. My goal is to have it fully functional by April 1st (2026), including donation buttons for visitors to be able to choose an amount to give, and custom registration buttons for events like the gala and golf tournament. Part of the setup process involves setting up a payment account with our chosen vendor (Stripe) and integrating that account with our ClubRunner account. 

Once complete, we will have a Club calendar with all meetings and events, and hopefully speaker details listed. We will have a password protected member area to be able to log into your Rotary profile and view member specific information. (Perhaps the topic of a future meeting to provide a tutorial). We will have an advertising banner that we can sell to local businesses; though we are starting off by providing this for free until we have website traffic data that would support a paid advertising campaign. There will be news section to update the community on what the Club is doing, such as progress reports on the market project, photos from the gala and golf tournament, calls for volunteers for the roadside clean-up, etc.  

As with anything in the online world, the information needs to be current and relevant in order to drive traffic. My hope is that maintenance of the site will truly be an ongoing full-Club participation project. Please help with any content ideas, from local news to event photos. I've set up a new dedicated email address that will be used to filter website information into. NapaneeRotaryWebsite@gmail.com This is an internal email address only, being used to allow members to send content ideas to, separate from my personal and work email accounts.
